Good morning boys and girls,
Thinking of you all and hoping you are well and your loved ones are too. Continue to look out for little messages from me on your Study Ladder Accounts- I can now pop into our class and leave a comment for you. Some children are working really well through the activities. There are lots of revision activities but remember to refer to the Weekly Home Learning for the specific Maths/Numeracy tutorials and games linked to this week’s learning.
If you can, please join in the National Silence today at 11 am to remember those that have lost their lives while working to look after others in the NHS and Care Services.
Please continue to find extra ideas for links and suggestions for additional physical activity on the Blog more added today.
You should receive details about moving onto Glow Teams in the post this week and we will move onto this next week. We will then be able to chat online at specific times and you can have online chats/conversations with other children in our class. I am really looking forward to hearing how you all are!
A note to parents/carers-
The suggested activities are just that suggestions, participation is at your discretion, complete if you can and find it appropriate to do so. Many of you will have your own work to do at home and it can be difficult to juggle both. Please remember both you and your child’s mental health is most important during this difficult time.
Some suggestions for this coming week:
Please refer to the grid for daily suggestions for Literacy and Numeracy. Other curricular areas can be completed if this works for your family.

Art and Design
Use lines to create a patterned back ground. Colour the background if you would like to make your design more attractive. Then using a variety of recycled or new paper create shapes by cutting out to make the body parts for a bird. Glue your bird or birds to your patterned back ground.
