Good morning boys and girls,

Another sunny day is ahead to try and help keep us positive!  Did you manage to listen carefully, yesterday, to hear different bird sounds?

Perhaps today you could go a hunt around your garden or a walk and look for some nature bits and pieces that you could make into fairies or insects like a butterfly.  You could collect a stick for the body, leaves for wings and other natural elements for other body parts.  Remember to be respectful of other people’s gardens- don’t take flowers etc. that belong to someone else. Get creative!

The fairy below is called Bobella!

A note to parents/carers-

The suggested activities are just that suggestions, participation is at your discretion, complete if you can and find it appropriate to do so.  Many of you will have your own work to do at home and it can be difficult to juggle both.  Please remember both you and your child’s mental health is most important during this difficult time.

Some suggestions for this coming week:

Please refer to the grid for daily suggestions for Literacy and Numeracy.  Other curricular areas can be completed if this works for your family.

Can you answer these questions in sentences, remember to use the question to help you for the answer and include capital letters and full-stops.  Remember too your best handwriting.  Aim high and give it your best try!

  2. What job does blood do?
  3. How long does it take for blood to travel from your heart around your body and back again?
  4. Which is the strongest muscle for its size in the human body?
  5. How much of the brain is made of water?
  6. What are nerves?

Art and Design

Find some old magazines. Cut out facial features and make some funny faces.  You can glue these down or just move them around on the paper to make funny faces.  You could then draw some of these faces.  Get creative!

Remember if you would like to leave a comment via Twitter, it would be lovely to hear from you!

Have a good day and remember these are just suggestions.  Keep safe.

Regards

Mrs Brown
