This in turn will encourage their development of attitudes and values, which are consistent with the care, and conservation of our environment. As the pupils explore the environment, they will study the following broad areas:<\/p>\n<div class=\"entry-content\">\n<div class=\"page\" title=\"Page 21\">\n<div class=\"layoutArea\">\n<div class=\"column\">\n<p><strong>Social Studies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>People, past events &amp; societies<\/li>\n<li>People, place &amp; environment<\/li>\n<li>People, society, economy &amp; business<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Science<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Planet earth<\/li>\n<li>Forces, electricity &amp; waves<\/li>\n<li>Biological systems<\/li>\n<li>Materials<\/li>\n<li>Topical Science<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Technologies<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Technological developments in society<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>ICT to enhance learning<\/li>\n<li>Business contexts<\/li>\n<li>Computing science contexts<\/li>\n<li>Food and textiles contexts<\/li>\n<li>Craft, design, engineering and graphics contexts<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>We have a range of resources for ICT, including a SmartBoard in each of the classes. Classrooms also have access to both Mac computers and PC laptops \u00a0in addition to iPads, which are timetabled for use in each class.
