\nScottish Child Payment is a payment for low income families and it will be paid to eligible\u00a0 families at \u00a310 per child, per week equivalent to \u00a3520 per year. There are no limits on the number of eligible children supported by Scottish Child Payment<\/p>\n
You can get a Scottish Child Payment if all of the following apply to you:<\/p>\n
you are responsible for a child under six years old The qualifying benefits are Universal credit, child tax credit and working tax credit, income support, pension credit, income based jobseeker’s allowance and income related employment\u00a0and support allowance. \nThe Scottish Child Payment will be administered\u00a0by Social Security Scotland and paid on a four weekly basis<\/p>\n
\nby online, over the telephone or in writing:<\/p>\n
\nIf your child turns six be fore the Scottish Child Payme nt starts on 15 Fe bruary 2021
\nyou will not be e ligible to receive the payment even if you have made the application before
