{"id":2869,"date":"2015-10-02T11:36:36","date_gmt":"2015-10-02T11:36:36","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/LawmuirBlog\/?p=2869"},"modified":"2015-10-02T14:02:28","modified_gmt":"2015-10-02T14:02:28","slug":"road-to-rio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/LawmuirBlog\/2015\/10\/02\/road-to-rio\/","title":{"rendered":"Road to Rio!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>In the build up to the Olympic games in Rio next summer, Lawmuir Primary has signed up to the &#8216;Road to Rio&#8217; walking challenge. \u00a0Each class will be taking part in this challenge starting on Monday 5th October. \u00a0This will involve each class walking for 15 minutes around the senior playground once a week. \u00a0Each time they complete their 15 minute sesion, they take another step on the map towards Rio de Janerio stopping off at different countries along the way including Athens, Moscow and London. There will be prizes awarded along the way including wrist bands, bouncy balls and a special prize when they finally reach Rio!<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/LawmuirBlog\/files\/2015\/10\/Screen-shot-2015-10-02-at-12.35.40.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-2870\" src=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/LawmuirBlog\/files\/2015\/10\/Screen-shot-2015-10-02-at-12.35.40.png\" alt=\"Screen shot 2015-10-02 at 12.35.40\" width=\"394\" height=\"387\" \/><\/a>Each class has signed up on a different day of the week! Please see below for when you will need your waterproof jacket (in case of light rain!) and sensible shoes!
