The Family Fun Night, hosted by the Kirkshaws Primary School and Nursery Class Fundraisers, on Friday the 22nd June raised an amazing £423.90. A great night was had by all. We look forward to our next fun night.

A year of ‘Fun’ Fundraising
The Fundraising Committee have worked tirelessly this year to raise funds for Kirkshaws Primary School and Nursery Class. The list of event and activities is almost endless but they include, Hallowe’en Disco, Coffee Mornings, Christmas and Easter raffles, Family Fun Night and The Summer Fete.
Their contributions have made a real difference to the opportunities our children have been given at Kirkshaws this year including – Paying for Christmas and graduation gifts for all of the nursery children, providing tea and cakes at the graduations,P7 Leavers gift, P7 Bowling trip as well as subsidising nursery and whole school trips ( the reason our cinema outing only cost £1!!)
A massive thank you and congratulations from everyone in the Kirkshaws family for the effort and time given. We look forward to supporting you all again next year.
Spring Fete and Table Top Sale
Kirkshaws Primary and Nursery Class Fundraisers are holding their annual Spring Fete and Table Top Sale on Saturday 26th of May at 12-3pm. Events include: nearly-new stalls, new stalls, raffles, tombolas, home-baking, refreshments, guess the birthday, children’s activities and much, much more. Proceeds go to school funds.
We look forward to welcoming you to this popular event.
Easter Egg Raffle
The annual Easter Egg Raffle held by the Kirkshaws Primary School and Nursery Class Fundraisers was a huge success. It raised a total of £147 which will directly to school funds. Well done and thank you.
Daffodil Tea Success
A big thank you from the fundraisers and Kirkshaws Primary School and Nursery Class for supporting the recent Daffodil Tea that was held in the school. The tea and coffee drinkers were entertained by a variety of classes singing and playing instruments. A grand total of £159.45 was raised. Thank you once again. Look out for more fundraising coming soon.
Daffodil Tea
Kirkshaws Primary School and Nursery Class Fundraisers will be hosting a Daffodil Tea in the school dining hall on Wednesday the 7th of March at 9.30-11.30am. There will be a selection of baking and good company available for the price of £1 a ticket which includes your tea and coffee. As usual there will also be a raffle stall.
A selection of our talented children will be providing some fantastic entertainment. Please come and support our school and help us to raise some funds.
Kirkshaws Fundraisers Christmas Fayre
Kirkshaws Fundraisers will be hosting a Christmas Fayre in the school on Saturday the 10th of December at 12pm to 3pm.
There will be a variety of stalls including a children’s tombola, Santa’s Grotto, tea/coffee shop, face-painting, bric-a-brac, lucky dips, raffles and much, much more.
You could always purchase a table to sell your own craft items or use it as an opportunity to have a good old clear out from home. Tables can be booked for £5 on a first-come-first-served basis at the school.
You can help too! Donations of items for christmas hampers – mince pies, tins of vegetables, biscuits, wine etc.. will be great fully received as well as home baking.
We hope to see you all there for some Christmas fun.
Tea Party Success
The Fundraisers Red Tea party was a success. Those who attended were entertained by singing from the Nursery class, P3/4 and some of our talented brass musicians. A big thank you to everyone who supported this event.
The Tea Party raised £107 for school funds.
Red Tea Party
Kirkshaws School and Nursery Class are hosting a Red Tea Party on Wednesday the 9th of November at 9.30am in the school dining area. All funds raised will go towards the school fund.
Tickets are on sale now for £1.oo, which include your tea/coffee and biscuits. A raffle will also be held that morning.
Look out for performances by some of the children. Donations of raffle prizes will be gratefully received.
