Parental Consultations
Please check your child’s bag for a letter regarding your preference of parental consultation time for Wednesday the 12th of October. A swift return of the tear off slip stating your preference will allow the staff to organise appointments most suited to your own time requirements and coordinate appointments for families with more that one child at the school.
Many thanks for your help with this matter.
Eco / Health Week comes to an end
Our Eco / Health week has been a great success with pupils and staff taking part in a variety of Eco and health activities. Highlights have been the body hooping, bulb planting, painting the garden furniture, P1 visiting visiting the ‘Safe Play’, P3 to P7 Healthy Picnic and Warburtons Bread making healthy sandwiches with P3. We have learned lots about how to look after our environment and how to create our own healthy lifestyle.
We are looking forward to talks from St Andrew’s Hospice and workshops from Road Safety later this week.
We are looking forward to all the classes sharing their Health / Eco Week experiences at assembly on Morning.
Eco/ Health Week is Underway
Our Eco / Health Week started with a bang yesterday when all classes had the opportunity to take part in some Body Hooping. Jane Brady, our Body Hooping expert, took us through our paces.
Warburtons Bread visited some of our primary 3 pupils and talked to us about Healthy Eating and helped us to make a healthy sandwich. It was both fun and yummy!
This morning our Eco Team led our Eco Assembly. It was full of useful ideas on how to be ‘green’.
We also sang our school Eco Song. Press hear to listen to Our Eco Song
Our ‘Ba-doop-doops’ also performed their new Eco song.
