Kirkshaws Primary School was taken over on Thursday the 20th of September by a band of Pirates! Pupils within the school were invited to create a pirate hat to celebrate ‘International talk like a Pirate Day”. A special pirate menu was also on offer that day in the school canteen. The winner of the best hat won a micro scooter which was supplied by our catering services. Well done to everyone who took part. You all looked amazing – and very scary!
We have changed our award certificates this year. We now receive “Fantastic Class Teacher Awards” and “Awesome Classroom Assistant Awards” effort in our work, being a good Kirkshaws citizen and good behaviour and attitude.
