Mrs McBain and Primary 6 are going on their long awaited visit to the Scottish Parliament on Thursday 16th of April. The last scheduled visit was cancelled due to the high winds on December the 8th.

Cross Country Success
Cross Country running is obviously something Kirkshaws Primary is good at. We had 3 qualifying teams and an individual runner who qualified out of all 122 North Lanarkshire Primary Schools – this is an amazing achievement. Well done to all of our runners, especially the Primary 7 girls team who came out second over all. Each participating runner was awarded with a medal at assembly.
Easter Egg Raffle
The annual Easter Egg Raffle held by the Kirkshaws Primary School and Nursery Class Fundraisers was a huge success. It raised a total of £147 which will directly to school funds. Well done and thank you.
Sports Relief Success
Kirkshaws primary School and Nursery Class raised a staggering £2264 for Sports Relief through a variety of enterprising events including a superb cake stall and a mile long fun run. Congratulations to Mr Gall and the rest of Primary 5 for such an amazing effort. Well done!!
March ‘Go for Green’ Winners
Congratulations to everyone who was awarded a ‘Go for Green Certificate’ at assembly on the last day of term. We hope you keep up the hard work.
Welcome Back
Welcome back to term 4 here in Kirkshaws Primary and Nursery Class. We are looking forward to a busy hard working term where we have lots to look forward to including trips, sports days and Joseph the Musical. Here’s looking forward to ending this session on a high note.
