Virtual Teddy Bears Picnic

Each year Keir Hardie supports St. Andrews Hospice by taking part in a Teddy Bears Picnic where children bring their teddies to school and we raise some money for a good cause. Due to current circumstances we cannot take part in the picnic in the usual way so we have planned a virtual Teddy Bears Picnic on Friday 29th May. The picnic is for all children currently in Primary 1, Primary 2 or in the Nursery Class. It is also open to those starting Keir Hardie next year in Primary 1 who currently attend another Nursery.
If you would like to take part all you have to do is make your picnic and take it to the garden, dining room, school hub or wherever you will be that day! Take a picture with your teddy and tweet us using the handle @KeirHardieMem as well as @standrewhospice with the #stayathome #teddybearspicnic.

If you are able to we would also like to continue to support St Andrews Hospice and have set up a just giving page at https://www.justgiving.com/fundraising/keirhardiemem to allow you to donate if you can. The link is also on twitter where you can follow it to donate.

We really appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you all there!

We had a fantastic time at the picnic and managed to raise an incredible £390 for St Andrews Hospice! Thank you to all who took part and contributed.
