Well we have had a very busy time in school.  Primary one pupils have been very busy learning their first sounds and numbers and what a great job they have done.

We all went to Mass on Friday for the feast of our Patron Saint and the children’s behaviour, responses and singing was outstanding.  Well done boys and girls!

Our pupils in Primary one to three have been very busy looking at homes and habitats and have been enjoying the play area which has been set up in the infant department.

Primary 4-7 have been eagerly researching natural disasters.  They have all ben finding out about tsunamis, volcanoes, earthquakes, droughts and a whole host of other events.  They are really enjoying this topic and we are beginning to see lots of written work and research emerging so soon – well done.

Mrs Quinn has been very busy with her science classes who have all been investigating materials – even Primary One.

We are delighted that everyone has started the term with such hard work and excellent behaviour.  I know that you will all be really proud of them – as we are here in school.
