When we first entered Scotland Street we were divided into two groups: boys and girls to get changed into different clothes. After we changed we headed down the hall towards a classroom from the 1940’s where a man called Mr. Valentine was waiting to give us an idea of what school was like in WWII. Mr. Valentine showed us how hard life was back then and how there was always a chance of a German bombing. School work was also different. We had to use an ink pen and a really hard crayon. Some found it hard to sit still and pay attention wile others found it hard to write. We all enjoyed the experience and learned a lot from it.
We had so much fun at Scotland Street
I think the teacher could have been a little scarier!!

I thought the teacher was scary enough.
