Story Teller Visits St Mary’s
It has been a very exciting time here in St Mary’s. Each year children are given the opportunity to create a book which is written and illustrated independently. This programme runs for 4 weeks and is an intense process for all involved! This year to inspire the children and highlight the importance of stories we worked with a storyteller. Ruth worked with each class telling traditional stories which related to our Easter or Spring time theme.

Dancing with Rosina
The dancing was funny we had to shake our body and streach a lot. It was very cool. It is a good way to get fit. We played a game when we were in groups of 4 we had to run down the hall and try not to touch anyone when we stop.

The dancing with Rosina was great we done sound poems and we done big streaches it was fun!

A girl called Rosina came into our school, Mossend Primary to do dancing. We had told her what our topic was and what was in our topic. Rosina made a song out of our topic. We did a game, went into 4 teams and she would shake her tambourine, the first person would run, then the second person and we had to try and not touch the person in front of you.
