Marvellous Musician!

Music is fun

There was a polish named Martin and he came to our school, he played the piano and he was very good! He was very good and he also sang a song called hallelujah and we really enjoyed it. He taught us about how we can change our voices and sounds and make them go higher and lower, it was very amusing!

He also taught us 1, can mean a lot of different things in music like one beat or one sound or one rythm and a lot more!

It was very fun and interesting and we would love to see him again!

Polish Pianist

On Monday the 4th of March Calder Primary had a visit from a polish musician. The children had a great time and enjoyed it. His name was Martin. He was really talented in music and had great imagination. He was also good at drama and he showed us how to express what we are saying by doing drama. Martin played to us different types of tunes which displayed to us how he was feeling e.g. if he was feeling happy he would play a happy tune. The children also tried playing some tunes but it wasn’t on the piano. It was on a range of different instruments e.g. tambourine, drums, rain makers etc. The children learned a lot about music and drama. All together it was brilliant.
