Welcome to the Creative Learning BLOG for North Lanarkshire, generously supported by Education Scotland funding provided through Creative Scotland. This BLOG has been established to enable schools and other learning groups to link with artistic and cultural organisations in a network within which they can share information on learning and teaching, offer support to each other and most importantly, create opportunities and capacity for creative and cultural learning for our children and young people across the curriculum.
This BLOG is yours and needs your input to keep it lively, relevant and stimulating! We have a small team of people who are working behind the scenes to support the BLOG in its infancy and we hope you will keep up with how our Marketplace event on 2 November 2011 spawns some really exciting creative projects over the coming months. There will be nine projects being BLOGGED about soon that we hope will inspire and enthuse you on that creative learning journey with children and young people.
Our aspiration for the Creative Learning Network in North Lanarkshire is that it will become an essential resource for developing and sharing creative and cultural learning opportunities. We welcome you to be part of it. For further information about the CLN in North Lanarkshire please contact:
