Primary 1/2 had “the best day ever”. They became NASA engineers and had to create new rovers to go to mars. They worked together to design and build our models and then gave their creations an out of this world name. We then confidently presented them to the class.
Primary 2 had a great STEM Day. They worked hard in pairs to design a new rover to go to space. Next they built and decorated their spacecraft designs. Finally they presented their spacecrafts to the rest of the class.
These fantastic Primary 2 children have been using pastels to blend the colours of the planets as part of their space topic.
Primary 2 worked really hard with active literacy and writing this week. Keep up the great work everyone.
Well done to this creative P2 boy for using his mapping skills to design and create an island like Katie Morag’s Isle of Struay.

As part of their “Hamish McHaggis” IDL topic the children in P1/2 have been learning about Scotland and Scottish Castles.
