Primary 5 Growing Potatoes

We are really excited about Growing our own potatoes in Primary 5. Mr Walker has supported us greatly with the schools homegrown compost. We can now plant our tubers next week! We love STEM in P5!

Mrs Tierney’s visit to Primary 6

Mrs Tierney had a lovely time in Primary 6 this morning. She was very impressed with how well the children lead the learning in Numeracy. Great application of skills to work out perimeter. Keep up the fantastic work – Thank you Miss Wright and P6.

Primary 7B Mrs Tierney’s visit

Mrs Tierney had a great time in Primary 7b this morning and was impressed with all the hard work in Numeracy. Great application of multiplication and division skills and strategies to solve problems.    Thank you Mrs Cardle and P7b – Keep up the excellent effort!

Thank you to Fr Haddock for a beautiful Ash Wednesday service this morning. It was a privilege to start our Lenten journey with our parish community. Thank you also to the music group for making the mass so special.

Lent is a time for us to prepare for Easter

Lent is a time for us to prepare for Easter to celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ. The 40 days of Lent is an opportunity for us to be the best we can be and become closer to God through Prayer, Fasting and Giving. We are looking forward to making this journey together.  

Primary 3 Fun Maths

This terrific class had some fun maths today. Counting, dividing, multiplying & also information handling to decide on which toppings to have on their delicious pancake.
