As part of our IDL theme, China, we had been discussing the population of the country and how they would house so many people in the country. We know there are a lot of high rise buildings in China and the country is very susceptible to earthquakes, therefore we used a variety of materials to build high rise buildings and tested how they would withstand the effects of earthquakes.
