This week we incorporated our cooking, writing and Easter/Spring learning. We made Chocolate Easter nests with cornflakes, chocolate and mini eggs. We used the hob to melt the chocolate, then stirred in the cornflakes. After spooning them into the cake cases we put some mini eggs on the top to look like eggs in a birds nest. The cakes took an hour to set in the fridge. We loved the tidying up afterwards, we were sneakily licking the spoons and bowl when Mrs Black wasn’t looking!
