Glasgow Science Centre Outing

Primary 5/6/7 and Primary 5/6/7 C had a  fantastic trip to the Glasgow Science Centre last week. Pupils participated in  a very informative Water Filtration workshop and learned the various processes involved in turning dirty water into clean, drinkable water. It was a very “hands-on” learning experience and it gave them a taste of being scientists for an hour.

Of course, there were so many other wonderful interactive exhibits there, that pupils were constantly exploring new things such as learning about  DNA and genetics, the internal workings of the body and how they are affected by substance abuse and how the mind can be tricked by illusions.

Everyone had a really enjoyable time and would like to visit The Science Centre again someday.
