The Commonwealth sports in art.

Primary 4/5/6 and Primary 5/6/7 B have been painting a variety of Commonwealth Games themed sporting posters. They had to take care to choose the appropriately sized paint brush to complete each detailed area of the design. Working with ready-mixed paints, pupils learned how the addition of water changed the consistency and the dilution of colour.

Mrs Kent suggested to children, that they might like to visit the Tate Gallery Kids website online, to learn more about art and play some drawing games.
