S4 – S6\u00a0\u00a0PRELIM SCHEDULE DECEMBER 2021 AND JANUARY 2022\u00a0<\/b><\/h2>\n

Please find attached the schedule for prelim examinations in Cardinal Newman High school this year.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Prelim exams for S4-6 will take on the following dates.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>\n

Monday 6th<\/sup>\u00a0\u2013 Friday 17th<\/sup>\u00a0December 2021<\/p>\n

Monday 24th<\/sup>\u00a0Jan- Friday 4th<\/sup>\u00a0February 2022<\/p>\n

These examinations will take place during class time and are formal assessments and should be treated as such by young people. Students will only have one formal prelim examination on any given day throughout these two periods.<\/p>\n

Students who require additional exam arrangements, will received notification in due course from Miss Morrison in Support for Learning about their individual prelim arrangements, however they will be on the same dates as shown on the schedule,<\/p>\n

While these are the main formal assessments, other tests and opportunities for evidence gathering\u00a0\u00a0will take place during the school year to enable teachers to have a range of evidence available to support their professional judgement on working grades for tracking and report as well as recommended levels for presentation and estimates to SQA.<\/p>\n

We would hope that all young people are already preparing for these assessments through regular study and revision and the use of support materials including the National Online support study offer through E-sgoil\u00a0 https:\/\/e-sgoil.com\/study-support\/#ss_timetable<\/a><\/p>\n
