Parents and pupils in S2\/S3 are invited to \u2018drop-in\u2019 between 3.00pm and 7.00pm to a joint school event with Bellshill Academy to be held in Cardinal Newman High School on Thursday, 31 March 2016 to find out more about developing employability skills in our students.
\nThe event is being organised in partnership with Skills Development Scotland, Community Learning and Development, North Lanarkshire\u2019s Working, Routes to Work and Job Centre Plus
\nThere will be a \u2018market place\u2019 with various business information stands, local colleges, universities, training providers, former and current students and planned workshops running in break-out rooms which parents and their children can book on to when they arrive at the school. Workshops include \u2013 Finance Matters, Skills Development Scotland (MyWorldofWork) and interview techniques.
\nThis is a fantastic opportunity for S2\/S3 students as all the information you need to know about careers and relevant qualifications will be made available to you.
