Thank you for visiting our school website and a very warm welcome to Cambusnethan Primary School.
Cambusnethan Primary School is a non-denominational primary school located in the village of Cambusnethan, Wishaw, in North Lanarkshire. We are proud to serve our local community, providing education and care for children from Primary 1 to Primary 7, alongside our Nursery Class for children aged 3 to 5.
As Head Teacher, I feel privileged to lead a school where every child is truly at the heart of everything we do. Our vision is to create a nurturing, inclusive and inspiring environment where all learners feel safe, valued and supported to achieve their full potential.
At Cambusnethan, there is a positive and happy ethos across our school and nursery. We place great importance on knowing our pupils as individuals and building strong, trusting relationships with families. By working in partnership with parents and carers, we ensure that every child is encouraged to thrive academically, socially and emotionally.
Our school values — Caring, Happy, Achieving, Motivated and Positive (CHAMP) — underpin our culture and guide the way we learn, work and grow together each day. Through high-quality learning experiences, creativity, ambition and support, we aim to develop confident learners and responsible citizens who contribute positively to the world around them.
If you would like any further information or wish to arrange a visit to our school or nursery, please do get in touch.
We would be delighted to welcome you and your family.
Mrs Nicola Dignall
