Primary 1 enjoyed their visit to Asda. They had a tour of the supermarket and then helped to design a fruit smoothie. Then they shopped for some healthy food and paid for it at the self service checkout. Back at school they helped to prepare a picnic and had fun tasting different healthy foods. A very healthy day!

Primary 1 had fun investigating materials. They found manmade and natural materials and could talk about the properties of the materials they found. They carried out an experiment to find out which materials are waterproof. The results showed that plastic was waterproof.

Today the boys and girls in P3 were lucky enough to take part in a video meet with Santa! They joined thousands of other children and were able to ask the big man some questions. We also got to sing some Christmas songs and we all had great fun!

Greetings from Kilbowie. We have had great fun so far.  We have had groups sailing, canoeing, gorge walking.  We have also enjoyed taking part in fun teambuilding games too.  We will try to update tomorrow with pictures if we get a chance.

We have been looking at Oban as part of our visit to Kilbowie. We were asked to design a tourist leaflet all about Oban. Everybody put alot of hard work into their tourists leaflets and they all look very good! We stuck pictures on to them to make them stand out, and we used bright colours. Everyone is looking forward to Kilbowie and I am sure it will be good fun!

  Primary 7 have been designing stain glass windows for art. We tried to make them look like the Scottish country side. We done this as part of our topic on Oban, which we are visit Kilbowie which is in Oban in Febuary.

Happy New Year everyone from p7!! In 2010 we made 3 pop up books they were called The Naughty Little Elf,The Lost Present and is Christmas Ruined? We enjoyed  reading them to the little ones and they seemed to enjoy them !

Now we are back we will keep you up to date !!

 P7 made our own words to the song 12 days of christmas. To decorate them we cut out photos from the argos catalogue to match the things that were in our songs. We made them modern and put presents we would like such as xboxs, tvs, phones and ipods. It was great fun and everyones poems were different.

Primary 7 were learning about World War 2 the blitz and we made amazing blitz pictures.We made the smoke out of charcoal and the flames out of red and gold paper it was really fun. The pictures are up on our walls in the classroom. We made some planes out of black card and stuck them in the sky.We painted the sky with water colours which were red,orange and yellow.

  It has been very snowy for the past couple of days. It has been very fun to play in the snow, with snow balls being throwing and snowmen being made. It looks like it will be snow white Christmas for most parts of Scotland.

Our school closed at 12noon on Tuesday.
