A party of 34 S4 pupils and 4 staff from the Humanities Department enjoyed a 3 day educational visit to London last weekend. Linked to their National Qualifications courses of study in Geography, History and Modern Studies the party visited a number of the capital’s world-renowned sites, including the Houses of Parliament, the Imperial War Museum and Buckingham Palace. They also enjoyed a trip on the London Eye and other cultural experiences, including a visit to the Harry Potter Set at the Warner Brothers Studio and taking in a West End Show.
Miss Nikki Heeps, who organised the trip, was fulsome in her praise of the youngsters for their keen interest and impeccable behaviour throughout the busy weekend.
