All first year pupils enjoyed taking part in a double-period, team-building challenge delivered by Scott McInnes from Dunfermline’s ‘Tree of Knowledge, organisation. In as series of fun tasks, pupils were reminded of the importance of team work and the skills required of all team members to overcome any learning challenge. The favourite challenge for many of the groups was the ‘tangled rope’. This demanded team members had to contort their bodies to step through loops and hoops, without releasing the handle of their own rope in order to free all of the ropes in the set-up knot.
All of the pupils gave the day a big thumbs-up and left with a clear message of how important it is for them to play their individual part in any lesson or learning task.
