We\u2019ve added an extra day which means that exams will now start on Friday 25 April instead of Monday 28 April. The finish date of Monday 2 June is unchanged and remains as a contingency day. Results Day will be Tuesday 5 August.<\/p>\n<p>This update has affected the following exams and dates:<\/p>\n<h3>Change of exam day<\/h3>\n<p>We have changed the day and date of these exams:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Accounting \u2013 all levels<\/li>\n<li>Classical Studies \u2013 all levels<\/li>\n<li>Computing Science \u2013 all levels<\/li>\n<li>Dance \u2013 all levels<\/li>\n<li>Engineering Science \u2013 all levels<\/li>\n<li>English for Speakers of Other Languages \u2013 Higher<\/li>\n<li>French \u2013 all levels<\/li>\n<li>German \u2013 Higher<\/li>\n<li>Media \u2013 Higher<\/li>\n<li>Modern Studies \u2013 all levels<\/li>\n<li>Nuadh-e\u00f2las \u2013 all levels<\/li>\n<li>Practical Metalworking \u2013 National 5<\/li>\n<li>Practical Woodworking \u2013 National 5<\/li>\n<li>Psychology \u2013 all levels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Change of exam time<\/h3>\n<p>These exams remain on the same date but we have changed the exam times:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Biology \u2013 National 5<\/li>\n<li>Cantonese (Listening) \u2013 Higher<\/li>\n<li>Cantonese (Listening and Discursive Writing) \u2013 Advanced Higher<\/li>\n<li>Care \u2013 National 5 and Higher<\/li>\n<li>Fashion and Textile Technology \u2013 National 5 and Higher<\/li>\n<li>Mandarin Simplified and Traditional (Listening) \u2013 Higher<\/li>\n<li>Mandarin Simplified and Traditional (Listening and Discursive Writing) \u2013 Advanced Higher<\/li>\n<li>Religious, Moral and Philosophical Studies \u2013 National 5<\/li>\n<li>Urdu \u2013 Higher<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>Exam apps<\/h3>\n<p>We are updating the exam apps and will publish them as soon as they are available.<\/p>\n<p>The previous timetable was compressed in response to partners feedback \u2013 allowing learners more time to prepare for their exams following the late Easter holidays. This led to a rise in coincident and consecutive exams. We have listened to and share the concerns raised by schools, colleges, learners and parents\/carers about this.
