The current roll is 867 pupils serving Coltness,\u00a0Cambusbnethan and Cleland although pupils do attend the school from the wider Wishaw area including\u00a0Newmains, Morningside and Craignuek.<\/p>\n<p>Our aims are as follows:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cColtness High School Staff working in partnership with pupils, parents and the local community to:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>deliver a curriculum which, by having a range of appropriate courses, teaching methods and well &#8211;\u00a0resourced learning experiences, ensures that all pupils realize their full potential.<\/li>\n<li>promote a caring environment in which our pupils are actively encouraged to take responsibility for\u00a0themselves as members of our community.<\/li>\n<li>communicate effectively with all partners in the learning process: pupils, parents, staff and the\u00a0community.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\">We have established strong links and effective joint working with our associated primary schools and\u00a0partner agencies.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: left\"><a href=\"https:\/\/blogs.glowscotland.org.uk\/nl\/public\/CHSFP\/uploads\/sites\/114\/2014\/12\/Coltness-High-School-Improvement-Report-2016.pdf\">Coltness\u00a0High\u00a0School\u00a0Improvement\u00a0Report 2016<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Coltness High School is a non-denominational secondary.
