She completed her PGDE at Strathclyde University. Mrs Connell started her career in Glasgow before returning to North Lanarkshire as Principal Teacher of Pupil Support in Taylor High School. She joined us in January 2023<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Deputising for the Head Teacher<\/li>\n<li>Absence Management includes Cover Arrangement, coding of supply staff &amp; monitoring of absence review meetings<\/li>\n<li>DYW includes Careers Education Standard, 16+ Hub, MYWOW, SDS liaison, Work Experience &amp; YPI DHT Link<\/li>\n<li>P7 Transition &amp; School Cluster Lead<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Regent includes NQTs<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">CPD including In-service Arrangements<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">ELT, SLT representative on SRG &amp; School Fund Committee<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Charities<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Policy Development includes: <\/span>Review of the Positive Behaviour strategy and Nurturing School<\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Health &amp; Wellbeing*<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Press Officer (including Social Media) linking in with the Head Teacher when required<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-size: 1rem\">Emergency evacuation procedures<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Links \u2013 (includes management of non-teaching staff)<br \/>\nPE, Science, PT Future Fridays, PT DYW and SDS<\/p>\n<p>*these areas are the \u201cresponsibility of all\u201d teachers within the school and have\u00a0 leads at Principal Teacher level.
