Dear Parent\/Carer,<\/p>\n
With the rising number of young people in the community testing positive for Covid, and also those\u00a0having to take PCR tests or having to self-isolate, there has been an increasing demand for \u2018work\u2019 from parents for their children who may be required to isolate\u00a0at home but are well enough to continue to learn. Following discussions with staff in school, teachers will upload the relevant class materials as soon as they have time. How this will be done will vary across the school as clearly it is more challenging for young people to engage in certain activities, such as practical work, from home.<\/p>\n
I know that these remain challenging times for all young people and parents but wish to assure you that the staff at Cumbernauld Academy will continue to do all we can to support every young person regardless of circumstances.<\/p>\n
