Pupils from across North Lanarkshire were brought together to celebrate the importance of reading and the many ways it can positively enhance their future careers.<\/p>\n<p>The event was compered by author Keith Charters and included a keynote speech from Dan Freedman, the author of the highly successful football series \u2018Jamie Johnson\u2019, which has been televised for the CBBC channel.
