Rehearsals are now in full swing with only three weeks to go until the 38th annual Braidhurst High School show.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s show \u201cSunshine on Leith\u201d (featuring the songs of The Proclaimers) follows the highs and lows of Ally and his friend Davy as they return home to Leith from the army. Families, friendships and life are not all plain sailing in this funny and moving story about love and life.<\/p>\n
Writer Stephen Greenhorn is a hugely successful playwright and screenwriter whose many credits include Dr Who, River City & Passing Places. The Proclaimers have had huge success across the globe with hits such as I\u2019m Gonna Be (500 Miles), I\u2019m on My Way and Letter From America.<\/p>\n
The cast features pupils from every year group in the school. With some familiar faces that have been performing on stage for the past six years and a bunch of new recruits, this year\u2019s show is guaranteed to be an action packed night of fun for all the family.<\/p>\n
This years show will take place in the assembly hall on Wed 15th & Thu 16th June 2015 at 7:30pm<\/p>\n
Tickets are priced \u00a34 for Adults, \u00a32 for children & \u00a310 for Family ticket (2 Adults + 2 Children) and are available from Mrs Hunter in the Maths Dept.<\/p>\n
