<\/span>Pupils were put into groups of four and were<br \/>\nrequired to \u2018visit\u2019 a number of cities in Germany, Austria and Switzerland and<br \/>\nto carry out prescribed tasks.<span>&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/span>The<br \/>\ngroup which covered the most cities and gained the most answers correct in the<br \/>\nshortest time won a prize.<span>&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/span>Tasks<br \/>\nincluded identifying famous brands of aftershave in German, finding words on a<br \/>\ngiant wordsquare, looking at Facebook posts in German, cracking number codes<br \/>\nand learning about famous German manufacturers.<span>&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/span>They also had the opportunity to don German<br \/>\nwigs and hats to resemble German football fans at football matches.<span>&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/span>There was much frantic moving from room to<br \/>\nroom as pupils carried out the tasks with zeal and determination.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"3\" face=\"Times New Roman\"><\/p>\n<p><\/font><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 42.3pt 0pt 0cm\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style='font-family: \"Arial\",\"sans-serif\"'><font size=\"3\">&nbsp;<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"3\" face=\"Times New Roman\"><\/p>\n<p><\/font><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 42.3pt 0pt 0cm\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style='font-family: \"Arial\",\"sans-serif\"'><font size=\"3\">The<br \/>\nwinning group was Christopher Duncan, Shah Afzahl and Jordan Falconer from<br \/>\nclass 2L.<span>&nbsp;&nbsp; <\/span>Pictured with them are Tammy<br \/>\nSmith, Kristy Speirs, Amber Waldron and Amy Marshall, who also won a prize for<br \/>\nremembering the code to unlock the \u2018safe\u2019.<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"3\" face=\"Times New Roman\"><\/p>\n<p><\/font><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 42.3pt 0pt 0cm\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style='font-family: \"Arial\",\"sans-serif\"'><font size=\"3\">&nbsp;<\/font><\/span><\/p>\n<p><font size=\"3\" face=\"Times New Roman\"><\/p>\n<p><\/font><\/p>\n<p style=\"margin: 0cm 42.3pt 0pt 0cm\" class=\"MsoNormal\"><span style='font-family: \"Arial\",\"sans-serif\"'><font size=\"3\">All<br \/>\npupils were complimented on their enthusiasm, excellent behaviour and<br \/>\nteam-working skills.<span>&nbsp;&nbsp;
