Butterfly Lion – Complete given chapter.
Spelling – spelling words copied in jotter (week 2 of ‘ti’ rule). Use any study strategy – rainbow spell / block spell / pyramid spell
Use 4 of your words in SUPER sentences, points will be awarded for use of adjectives, prepositions and descriptive language.
Maths: General multiplication revision.
Cones – up to 12 times table
Cubes – up to 10 times table
R.E. – The Month of the Holy Souls – discuss those who have died that you wish to pray for, November lists may still be added to altar box.
Please note: Some children do not have appropriate indoor shoes – make sure shoes are practical and will not fall off during P.E. activities.

Keeping us on our toes this week and in preparation for St Andrew’s Day celebrations we have been learning some Scottish Country Dancing.
So far we have perfected The Military Two Step and the Gay Gordon’s. We will now work to perfect The Dashing White Sergeant and the Barn Dance.
Primary Seven has spent some time today thinking carefully about what they want to learn about World War Two and how Scotland was involved in it.

Enterprise – our class poppies are still on sale. Friday sale will take place – bring lots of change. Letter to follow.
With a limited number of art straws we created skeletons, it was quite tricky getting them to do a funny pose.
Building stamina and working on our fitness in circuit stations in Primary 7. It was, at times, a challenge, we have voted that burpees are very difficult but we like the shuttle runs and the star jumps.
As part of Enterprise week, Primary Seven will be making and selling poppy pins made from felt. Please support us as we try to raise money for school funds.
