Primary 7 enjoyed a visit to Rawyards today with the Forestry Commission. We worked very well as a team and planted almost 150 trees. It was very tiring and muddy work.
After learning how to play Hockey we are now applying the possession skills in Football, it has been a challenge and we are working on non-verbal cues to alert our team mates without giving our strategies away to the opponent teams.
We have taken part in the St. Margaret’s transition programme for Science. Over the 4 weeks we carried out and designed experiments in the Science Lab with Mrs. Reilly and Mr. Reynolds. It was a great introduction to Secondary School Science and we were very enthusiastic to carry out each task in the lab.
