We enjoyed a visit from PC Cumming on Friday afternoon. He told us about his job and we asked lots of questions, keeping him on his toes. It was interesting to hear how he still needs to go on training courses and find out about the favourite parts of his job. We are looking forward to working with him this year as Anti Bullying Champions.

Primary Seven enjoyed training to be Peer Mediators, at assembly on Friday they shared their success with the whole school and were presented with Peer Mediator badges and official certificates. We were all very proud and pleased with our shiny new badges.

Primary 7 launched Peer Mediation at the whole school assembly on Friday. We all wrote the script and designed the Powerpoint slides. Well done to the girls who made up a drama and acted out the Mediation circle. We showed off our posters and Mediation point signs to the whole school. These will be on display shortly.

An update of Peer Mediation Training Day 2. We learned lots about dealing with anger, body language and responding to pupils who need mediation. In addition to our learning we played some great games and broke the world record in the Speedball challenge.

Another important part of the day was role playing a Peer Mediation circle using the official scripts.
