Scottish Water Visit

Today Primary 5 enjoyed a visit from Norma Alexander who works for Scottish Water. This visit was planned to promote our Global Storylines topic which is based on the theme of water. Norma shared lots of interesting facts about water consumption for us and those who live in developing countries. The children got to monitor the dripping tap and participate in a group activity about how to use water sensibly. A fun afternoon was had by all and the children even got a souvenir ruler and sticker to take home.

High School Visit

Yesterday Primary 5 went to St Margaret’s for a half day visit. They got a tour around the school by some of the third year pupils and they visited many different departments such as Music, English and Science. Everyone took part in a group Maths Challenge which proved to be trickier than they first thought! It was a fun morning and they are already looking forward to a full day visit next year in Primary 6.
