We understand that the move to Primary 1 can be a nerve-wracking experience for both children and their families. AtWoodlands Early Years, we are committed to making this transition as smooth and positive as possible. Our experienced staff are here to support you every step of the way, offering guidance, reassurance, and open communication. We have a robust transition programme in place, designed to help children feel confident and excited about the next stage of their learning journey, while also keeping parents well-informed and involved throughout the process.<\/div>\n

As part of our Scottish Week celebrations in January 2026, our Early Years children had a special visit to Primary 1. This was a lovely opportunity for our youngest learners to spend time in a Primary 1 classroom, take part in fun Scottish-themed activities, and begin to feel familiar and confident in their future school environment. They children shared their learning of Scottish poems.<\/p>\n
