Katie Morag
Our topic this term will be based on the Katie Morag books by Mairi Hedderwick. We will be looking at where Katie lives and exploring island life.
It all started with a letter…
Then we wrote a reply.
She wrote back and sent us a book!
Then she sent us a map.
We asked about island life.
We learned about island life and started to make our own ‘Isle of Struay’ for the classroom.
We visited Pennyburn Post Office to learn a bit more about what they do. We wrote our own letters at home and posted them in the post box. Hopefully we get some replies!
