Full training and support are provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What equipment do I need?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pupils will receive guidance on suitable clothing and equipment before expeditions take place. We have group equipment within the school and we are able to access personal equipment such as boots and waterproofs for anyone who requires them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Is DofE difficult?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The award is designed to be challenging but achievable. Pupils are supported throughout by trained experienced staff.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How much does it cost?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The award cost varies depending on the level. The DofE charges the school \u00a333 per Bronze and Silver participant and \u00a340 per Gold. The school aims to keep the costs as low as possible and cost should not be a barrier to participating in the award.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How long does the award take?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Each
