The school has an enrolment of approximately 1,350 young people. The Head Teacher is Mr Stephen Colligan, he is supported by four Depute Head Teachers: Mrs Allen (Head of S4), Mr Ross (Head of S3), Mrs Holmes (Head of S2 and S6), and Mr Gardiner (Head of S1 and S5).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a denominational school, St Matthew\u2019s Academy aims to be a centre of excellence, providing the highest possible quality of education within a Catholic community built on care, cooperation and mutual respect.
