PROMISE<\/a><\/p>\n

The promise<\/dfn>\u00a0is that Scotland\u2019s children and young people will grow up loved, safe and respected.<\/h2>\n

To keep it, Scotland must bring about the change demanded by its\u00a0Independent Care Review.<\/strong><\/a>\u00a0Keeping the promise means implementing all of its conclusions in full.<\/p>\n

Scotland\u2019s Independent Care Review was built on what children and young people had to say. They called for it, and took part in it at huge levels.<\/p>\n

When its findings were published in 2020, Scotland\u2019s then First Minister pledged that the country\u00a0would<\/strong>\u00a0#KeepThePromise.<\/p>\n

And that commitment got the support of all the Scottish Parliament\u2019s political parties.<\/p>\n
