Parents of children entering Primary 4 and up must apply.<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Can I get help with these costs?<\/strong><\/h3>\n<p>NAC may be able to help you with these school costs if your child attends primary or secondary school and you receive\u00a01 of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Income Support<\/li>\n<li>Income based Jobseeker&#8217;s Allowance<\/li>\n<li>Income related Employment and Support Allowance<\/li>\n<li>Child Tax Credit only (with income under \u00a316,105)<\/li>\n<li>maximum Working Tax Credit and Child Tax Credit (with an income under \u00a36,900)<\/li>\n<li>Working Tax Credit with income under \u00a316,105 (clothing grant only)<\/li>\n<li>Council Tax Reduction\/Housing Benefit (clothing grant only)<\/li>\n<li>support under Part VI of the Immigration and Asylum Act 1999<\/li>\n<li>Universal Credit where the monthly earned income does not exceed \u00a3610.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Families will be eligible for a <strong>Clothing Grant only\u00a0<\/strong>if in receipt of one of the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Working Tax Credit and\/or Child Tax Credit with an annual income\u00a0of \u00a316,105 or less<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<ul>\n<li>Universal Credit where &#8220;take-home pay&#8221; does not exceed \u00a31,342.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Do not hesitate to contact the school for more help or advice with this matter.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><em><strong>(Article 26: My family should get the money they need to help bring me up.)<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>North Ayrshire Council provide free school meals and \u00a3100 (per child) worth of school footwear and clothing to children whose parents are on certain benefits.
