As a school we celebrated Waste Week 2016 in many different ways!

All classes learned about wasting electricity and electrical equipment.  We all discussed ways of reducing the amount of electricity we use at home and in school.  We also investigated how beneficial it is to recycle electrical equipment, instead of them going in the bin!!

Mrs Reid and Mrs Cosgrove asked us to create posters to encourage people to use less electricity, design robots made from recycled electrical appliances,  design a board game to teach other children about electricity and to learn a poem/sing a song to share the waste week message to other people.

We had a very busy Waste Week 2016!!!
