Welcome to our website. I am sure you will enjoy browsing through our site and getting a feel for life in Springside Primary School and Early Years Centre.

I joined the Springside community as Acting Head Teacher in January 2024 and I am already very impressed by the many achievements secured by the children and whole team over the past years. Springside Primary School and EYC strive to achieve high standards and all of the team work tirelessly to ensure our children receive the best possible start to their educational journey.

 

All staff work very hard to provide high quality learning experiences for children aged three upwards, arranged in classes, from Early Years through to Primary Seven. We strive in Springside to provide all our pupils with a well-balanced and varied curriculum, tailored to individual needs. It is structured to enable each child to develop in a fun, exciting and progressive way to help our young people to become successful, confident, effective and responsible in an ever changing world.

 

We aim to provide high quality experiences to motivate pupils, staff and parents to reach their full potential in the school and wider community. We encourage everyone to treat each other with respect, showing care and compassion for others as well as their environment and the world around them.

We offer a child-centred education and work closely with parents/carers and partners to help develop this. We are always looking for you to share a hidden skill or talent to help make our curriculum more exciting and real for the children, so please get in touch if you can help us.
