We went on a class trip to the Irvine Martime Mueseum. We got a Hardies coach to take us there. When we got there we departed the bus and went to the education room to have our snack and drink. I think everyone enjoyed it. After that we went out of the museum to visit an old shipyard and went on the MV Kyles which is the oldest sea going ship in the world. After that we went to see an outstandingly old shipbuilder’s flat. It was very interesting but a little bit small. Afterwards we took a small but tiring stroll back to the museum. We then went to the education room to watch a mini movie about shipbuilding and it was very interesting. We departed the education room and went to the engine room and inside was a miniture version of a engine that would of been in the QE2. After that we had a tour of the museum and had a go at the boat simulator. We all really enjoyed our day!
