During the World of Work week, we had lots of interesting visitors who spoke about their jobs. A huge thank you to everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to visit us!

On Monday, we had two visitors from Young Enterprise who discussed a variety  of Scottish Inventors.

We were then put into groups to enhance the inventions that we had discussed.

We talked about the impact logos and slogans have on the market and then created our own.

We then presented our inventions to our audience.

On Tuesday, we discussed Mental Health. Our visitor is a Community Mental Health Nurse. It is very important that we look after our mental health and Mrs H gave us lots of great advice.

We also had a visit from Mrs B who works at Zurich Insurance.

 

On Thursday, Lorraine and some students from KA came to talk to us about various career oppertunities.

Mrs McL came in to tell us all what it is like to be a Solicitor. It was so interesting!
