Literacy
Spelling
Below are this weeks spelling words. Practice writing and spelling the words in a variety of different ways. We will have a spelling test on Friday with last weeks and this weeks words, so have a look over last weeks words too as a little reminder.

Reading:
Bugclub – Please continue to read the book allocated last week and answer the bug questions throughout the book. Using the SHORS strategy of Questioning, can you come up with a few questions to ask others in your group?
Optional: Ask someone at home what their favourite book is. Find out why they love the book so much, how many times have they read it? When was the first time they read it?
Education City: I have set another 5 tasks this week. 3 focusing on decimals and 2 looking at summarising and inferring.
Numeracy
Sumdog: This week I have set a decimal and place value challenge, looking at rounding and the 4 operations. Best of luck 🙂
IDL/Art
Choose one of the renewable energy options discussed in class and see if you can design a poster explaining the positives of using this type of energy in our everyday lives. This can be hand drawn or on a computer. Post pics on the blog or email them to me directly (gw19mccutcheonwayne@ea.n-ayrshire.gov.uk), I’d love to see them.
