Here are this weeks spelling words to practice at home. We will be having a spelling test on Friday so be sure to practice last weeks words too.

Once you have read the book, choose 1 or 2 pages from the following booklet to complete:

I have set 5 tasks as always. 3 centered around negative numbers. The game “Negative News” is more challenging than the others, use it to challenge yourself and see how you get on. The other 2 activities revolve around literacy. Good luck!

This week I have set a 30 question challenge centered around ordering positive and negative numbers and subtracting through zero which we have began in class. Good luck.
IDL:
9/11 has been a subject of great interest in class ever since we found out America is our topic! Can you interview someone at home or in your family who was alive when 9/11 happened and see what they remember about that day? Where were they when they found out? Did they watch the news that day? What were their thoughts and feelings at the time? What are the clear differences from before and after the event?
